Pegasus Society parents Meet-up
Published on May 17, 2025

Did You Know?
Children aged 5 to 13 are now spending an average of 4–6 hours a day on screens outside of school hours. Excessive screen time is linked to tantrums, anxiety, sleep disorders, and reduced attention spans. Most parents feel isolated in managing this challenge. The rise in screen consumption is deeply concerning, especially during formative years. About 74% of parents with kids under 2 report their child regularly watches videos on a smartphone. This may hinder essential learning, fostering dependence on instant gratification and reducing critical thinking.
